About Marsha Snider
“Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”
– Rumi
Growing up with the challenge of being highly sensitive to the distress in my family, I took refuge in the sense of belonging I felt in the woods and on the lake shores of my home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The land and water developed in me a respectful and loving relationship with Nature, which nurtured my sense of connection to the world and grounded my spirituality in the sacredness of my surroundings.
I work well with Highly Sensitive People (HSP), because I am one and it takes one to know one! I know the experience and stigma of feeling different, easily overwhelmed, “too sensitive”, “too emotional” and empathically vulnerable. The good news is that flower essences are a match made in heaven for us! Flower essence therapy is a gentle, compassionate approach which honors and supports our innate capacities and particular challenges as highly sensitive spiritual beings living in a beautiful, chaotic, joy and pain-filled world.
After decades of spiritual learning and contemplative practice in Christian mysticism, yoga, and Buddhism, and working as a licensed clinical social worker psychotherapist, I am returning home to the divinity in Nature with flower essences as healing allies, for a profound medicine of our time.
